Box Office & Will Call opens 45 minutes before each show.

Impact Theatre Etiquette

Give our dancers a round of applause at the end AND during impressive moments!
Most of us know that it’s tradition to give the performers a round of applause at the end of a dance. And take it from us dancers, the LOUDER the better! One of the most rewarding parts of a performance is hearing our younger dancers say, “did you hear how loud they clapped for us?!” as they rush off the stage. Another great way to show your support is to applaud during impressive moments that you know your dancer has worked hard to achieve. Feel free to clap for impressive turn sequences, big jumps/lifts, or fabulous solos. It will send their dancing hearts through the roof! But wait - screeching and cat calling crosses the line so please don’t annoy or scare the people around you with unnecessary vocal antics.
Please enter and exit only during blackout.
If you’re late, no sweat. Please enter the theatre and seating rows only during blackout (You might be crawling over the lap of the sweet dance dad whose baby is on stage!). If you need to leave the theatre for any reason, please do so during blackout, as well.
Backstage and Stage areas are for performers and stage crew only. We’re making magic, people.
Recording and Photography of any kind is strictly prohibited.
We’re serious. Please inform your attending friends and family that audience members found in non-compliance of this policy will be asked to leave the theatre. Our dancers, staff, and the entire audience thanks you for your cooperation. It is truly annoying to the people around and behind you and ruins the quality of the professionally recorded video that is available to you.
Impact Dance Center events are student-centered and we ask that all attendees follow our policies so that Impact staff and theatre crew can stay focused on putting on a great show for our audience and our dancers.
