COVID-19 SAFETY PROCEDURES

Statement

In light of current world events and public health concerns, we want to let our families know that Impact Dance Center makes careful and thoughtful decisions in regard to health & safety policies within the studio. Our students’ best interest is at the forefront of any policy that is implemented.

Please read the following statements:

  • Impact Dance Center will do its best to follow all health guidelines and make informed decisions about any necessary adjustments to the dance classes, rehearsals, and season.

  • Impact Dance Center asks our dance families to mitigate the risk of exposure to activities outside of the dance studio. Parents should be sure their child DOES NOT have any symptoms or fever before they come to the studio.

  • If a member of your household becomes ill with COVID, we ask that you notify office@impactdancecenter.com and take class from the Online Classrooms.

  • Virtual Dance Studios are accessible for the 2021-2022 season for all students.

    • Should you elect to use this platform or we have a studio-wide transition, virtual studios will uphold the standard of instruction our dancers have come to expect.

    • Pricing is not discounted for use of the virtual platform.

BEFORE CLASS

  • In order to minimize the crossover foot traffic inside the building please drop off your student no more than 5 minutes before class start time.

  • Please review the Impact Dance Center COVID-19 waiver

  • Students check-in at studio front door with the following protocols:

    • Hand sanitizer

  • Studio lobbies are closed to observers except for Stars, Princess Party, Glitter Glam, & Academy level classes.

DURING CLASS

  • Students walk directly to their classroom

    • If you feel uncomfortable or ill, please let the instructor know.

AFTER CLASS

  • Students are encouraged to use hand sanitizer between and after all lessons.

With your partnership, we can continue to keep dance a safe and vital outlet for our students by minimizing the risk of exposure.

 MASK Policy

Effective March 15, 2022, wearing a face mask at Impact Dance Center will be a personal choice for students and staff.

  • Please review the 3-11-22 E-Mail update here.

LOBBY IS CLOSED

At this time, the studio lobbies are closed to observers with the exception of one parent/guardian for Stars, Princess Party, Glitter Glam, & Academy level classes. If you would like to observe the class, we invite you to do so virtually by logging in to your studio account and selecting the applicable class link.

  • Instructors are teaching a class and moving around the classroom. Admittance into the virtual studio is intermittent and we ask for your patience should you arrive late and after the initial admittance.

  • Please note that your audio must be on mute so as not to disturb the class.

  • We require all virtual participants (students or observers) to attend with the Camera ON. If your background or setting is a distraction to the students in the classroom then you will be removed from the virtual studio.

We are deeply indebted to our dance community for its ongoing support during the COVID-19 pandemic. Working together, we can make this a successful dance season for our students and our entire dance family.
